Curious Elixirs

A Spicy-Sweet Frozen Treat Featuring Curious No. 2

When it’s 95° outside, there are few things better than something cold, juicy, sweet and just a little spicy.

So we decided to make Curious No. 2 paletas!

They combine super-ripe mango with Curious No. 2, our booze-free spicy pineapple ginger margarita, for a frozen treat that’s sweet, tangy, and finished with chamoy and Tajín.

Just blend, pour, freeze, and enjoy.

Mango paletas made with Curious No. 2, chamoy, and Tajín

Why Curious No. 2?

Curious No. 2 brings the heat with ginger, jalapenos, ancho chile and more It also features Damiana, a mayan aphrodisiac used to help relieve stress and lift your spirits.

The chamoy-Tajín treatment that makes these paletas POP!

This is the part that turns "frozen fruit" into "paleta with a personality." A drizzle of chamoy in the mold before you pour, a sprinkle of Tajín on top of that, then the mango mixture goes in.

Once they're frozen solid and popped out, they get a second coat — a little more chamoy, one more dusting of Tajín — so every bite starts tangy-spicy before it goes sweet.

The Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Curious No. 2
  • 3 ripe mangos, mostly puréed with some small chunks left in for a paleta-style texture
  • Lime juice, to taste
  • Honey (as needed, for sweetness)
  • Chamoy, for drizzling
  • Tajín, for dipping and finishing

Instructions

  1. Prep the mango. Peel and chop 3 very ripe mangos. Blend most of the mango until smooth, leaving some small chunks aside for that classic paleta vibe.
  2. Mix it up. Combine the mango purée with 1 bottle of Curious No. 2 and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Taste and adjust. If your mangos aren't quite sweet enough, add 1–2 tablespoons of honey.
  3. Build your paletas. Drizzle a little chamoy into your popsicle molds and sprinkle with Tajín.
  4. Fill and freeze. Pour in the mango mixture, add your popsicle sticks, and freeze until completely solid.
  5. Finish strong. Once frozen, pop the paletas out of their molds and drizzle with a little more chamoy. Finish with another sprinkle of Tajín.
  6. Enjoy. Take a bite and enjoy the sweet, spicy, tangy combination that's basically summer on a stick

They're ridiculously easy to make, packed with juicy mango flavor, and have just enough heat and tang to keep you coming back for another bite.

As always, booze-free and ready to go wherever summer takes you!
