When many bartenders start the process of creating any drink, it begins with a feeling that we want to evoke.  With Curious No. 1, it's the feeling of being in a cozy cocktail bar with that old friend who's always effortless to be around, with a wit that's deliciously bitter and you're never quite sure where the conversation might lead... but you know it'll be interesting. 

Our mission is to make the best damned drinks possible. To us here at Curious, making a cocktail isn't even primarily about the buzz, it's about the depth of flavors and treating your self to something special.  The best cocktails are like the best characters -- strong yet delicate, proudly independent but nuanced and vulnerable and spicy! (I'm looking at you Justin Theroux.)

With Curious No. 2, we want to transport you closer to the equator, where the flavors of the sun conspire to make your mouth dance. That's why we've worked hard to make Curious No. 2 sing -- with spice, heat, salt and smoke.

Hi, John Wiseman here, Curious founder.  Together with Jason Schuler, our brewmaster in the Hudson Valley, we've been collaborating with legendary Brooklyn bartender Ivy Mix and co-founder of Speed Rack and narrowed it down to two finalist cocktail candidates for the title of being called Curious No. 2... and we want you to get involved.
